Wild Hog Hunts
Hunt our lower 1500 acres for wild boar with towering pines, watering holes and thick bedding cover that slopes into a thick hardwood bottom which is drainage and overflows.
Wild boar hunting is our specialty and a year round sporting activity at with Grim D Extreme Outfitters LLC. Our areas of the country produces prime habitat for wild hogs which include both Feral and Russian strained hogs. Wild hogs harvested are typically range from 100lbs to 250lbs, with some hogs being harvested weighing in over 400lbs.
Wild hogs here are all free ranging and are native to the area. Our swamp land areas along with planted seasonal food plots and supplemental corn feedings aid in attracting and keeping our wild hog close to our stands.
You will be hunting from comfortable elevated tower stands, ladder stands, and tripod stands equipped with rifle rests. Stands are strategically placed throughout the properties over food sources or travel corridors providing our hunters the best opportunities possible.

Our private leases and farmlands are home to prime habitat for wild hogs. From Feral to Russian strains, the hogs harvested range between 100lbs to 250lbs, with some weighing over 400lbs. Our free ranging hogs are attracted and kept close to our stands through our seasonal food plots, supplemented with corn feedings. Hunt Operations:
We usually go in 2 hours before dark and don’t stay at night past a couple hours after sunset or as long as you would like. Most hogs that go nocturnal simply wait about 30 minutes after dark to come to a bait pile or feeder. So, if you are after the largest of trophies a night hunt yields the highest success rates.
Preferred weapons of choice are your standard deer hunting calibers in .308 and above. We do allow 5.56 but you must be using 62gr or above Soft Point or Hollow Point and has a massive expansion and wound channel. All other AR15 platforms are discouraged but not banned as this is your hunt, your way, as long as it is ethical. NO FMJ or Match ammo allowed. Rifle Rentals are available but limited.
We have a range available. All weapons need to be sighted in prior to coming and ONLY hunting ammo will be used. NO Full Metal Jackets or Matched ammo for hunting.

Day 1
Clients show up between 10 am and 1 pm.
Introductions, hunting waivers and release forms, Weapons and ammo checks and range, Hunting Check lists, Current photos of hog hit lists and locations, lodging, dinner.
Day 2
Depends on Client and how they hunt.
Breakfast, depart around 10 am to hunting area, eat lunch. Afternoon hunt going into night hunt. Client chooses when to stop hunting.
Day 3
Depends on Client and how they hunt.
Breakfast, depart around 10 am to hunting area, eat lunch. Afternoon hunt going into night hunt. Client chooses when to stop hunting.
Last Day
Breakfast, Clean Equipment and gather harvest meat and departs. All completed by 2 pm on the last day of the hunt.

Hunting form Stands, ground blinds with tripods, Clients are able to record their hunts with our rifle rentals.
We can provide transportation to and from the airport for a small fee. Hunters must provide their own coolers, Batteries, hunting license, skinning knife, and person snacks.
No Alcohol or drinking during the hunts.

Licenses:
A Texas hunting license is required for hunting hogs on public land, no hunting license is required for private lands.
